Job Description

Old Domininion Freight Line is recruiting for a CRM Buisness Analyst. As an Analyst on the CRM team, you will successfully define and articulate the requirements of the business, translating those requirements in application functionality, as well as work with the CRM users and other stakeholders to understand and help realize gaps and opportunities for improvement. You will contributes to the long-term success of Old Dominion by creating and executing business plans and communicating cross-functionally to gain internal alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business drivers and the impact of technology, applying the technology and innovation to optimize business results, leveraging Oracle Cloud platforms

  • Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of supported business area(s)

  • Identify process and systemimprovement strategies,and provide project management services.

  • Translate business requirements into a solution design through the use of recognized Business Analysis techniques and deliverables

  • Develop requirements for process or system solutions which may span multiple business domains by partnering with stakeholders and appropriate function areas and documenting those requirements

  • Work with senior business leaders to develop trusted, counselling relationships and influencing them to act

  • Work in fast-changing, agile environments with rapidly evolving information and shifting priorities.

  • Work with sales, customers and partners to understand market trends while monitoring the Oracle Cloud product development roadmap

  • Provide thorough acceptance criteria for all application requirements and facilitate user acceptance testing

  • Coordinate and/or participate in all customer demos for complete application requirements

  • Verify production changes and coordinate with business units effected

  • Maintain IT relationships by working with application architects, infrastructure teams, and/or database administrators to ensure compliance with OD Technology processes including SDLC, code review process, promotion process, etc.

  • Work with OD Technology Training team to create training documentation as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience

  • Business experience in a SaaS or Transportation company preferred

  • Experience with Oracle CX Cloud Suite will be a plus

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and with attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an autonomous environment

  • Demonstrated ability in establishing solutions to solve business problems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to develop and document requirements and specifications

  • Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi task and work as a team player

  • Strong problem solving skills and self-motivated
